Halflings are the most diminutive human race. They are also known as hobbits and are distant cousins of Svirfneblins and Gnomes. Halflings have a great resistance to poisons (and strong liquor!). Their natural immunity has proven useful, especially living nearby spider infested areas such as the Demonweb. Although lacking in stature their dexterity and hardiness give them the necessary tools to survive, and even thrive, through any hardships they might encounter. Living in close-knit communities Halflings are rarely seen outside the confines of their home. The close ties between Halflings has greatly increased their survival rate in the realm of larger beings.
